I have decided that in university, the device that I will use the most is the laptop. Since the laptop I am using is a Mac, the best software for it would be iWork. iWork is an office suite of desktop applications created by Apple. It contains Keynote, a presentation program (similar to Microsoft Power Point), Pages, a word processing program (similar to Microsoft Word) and Numbers, a spreadsheet program (similar to Microsoft Excel). Furthermore, all of iWork's programs allow the user to interact with other applications, such as iPhoto or iTunes, and drag pictures or music directly onto the document.
Although iWork is quite expensive comparing to "OpenOffice", the quality of the presentations you can create with it is outstanding. Furthermore, it is compatible with any format, and it has awesome templates and themes to make your document, presentation or spreadsheet look totally professional.
